David Mavashev
Chief Executive Officer
David Mavashev is a leading expert on IT infrastructure, middleware and messaging technologies with over 25 years experience architecting systems and solutions. His areas of expertise encompass implementing service oriented architectures and the underlying infrastructure monitoring that is fundamental for SOA governance, as well as tools and technologies for monitoring and managing integrated application processes and performance across the enterprise, and helping companies achieve business agility through effectively aligning IT with business processes in the real-time enterprise. A successful entrepreneur, David founded Nastel in 1994 and also served as the company's CTO for many years. Prior to that, he was the technical manager of the messaging group at NYNEX, where he architected and managed the implementation of the first commercial transactional messaging product, which now forms the basis for IBM WebSphere MQ (formerly MQ-Series). A pioneer in the early evolution of messaging technologies, David logged many years as an IT consultant working with some of the world's foremost banks and financial institutions.
Gad Tobaly

Gad Tobaly has extensive domestic and international experience accelerating sales and profits for Enterprise Software Companies. As Chief Operating Officer for Nastel, Gad oversees worldwide operations including sales, marketing and technology services. Prior to Nastel, Gad was CEO of Infovista, a $60 Million NYSE Euronext publicly traded service management software company. Gad led the company to profitability for the first time in its ten-year history, doubled sales in 3 years, and increased shareholder value +75%. Prior to Infovista, Gad was senior vice president and GM at Computer Associates, with regional and global responsibilities in sales and marketing for their IT Infrastructure as well as the Application and Information Management products and services offerings. Gad joined CA through their acquisition of Platinum Technology, where he was the Managing Director of key subsidiaries in Europe. Gad has a mathematics and physics Degree as well as a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from Dauphine University in Paris, France. Gad is dual citizen US and EU, speaks four languages and lives on Long Island, NY with his wife and three children.
Albert Mavashev

Albert Mavashev is Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Research and Development for Nastel. Albert manages all aspects of software development, delivery, implementation and support. Also as the chief architect of Nastel's suite of products, Albert is instrumental in the creation of some of the most comprehensive and advanced tools for monitoring, managing and optimizing the performance of complex transactions and integrated application processes in SOA environments. Albert is an expert in IT infrastructures and middleware, including IBM's WebSphere family of products, and in implementing service oriented architectures (SOA), helping companies achieve business agility through technology and aligning IT with business processes in the real-time enterprise. Albert is a sought-after speaker and author of numerous articles and white papers.
Charles Rich
Vice President, Product Management and Marketing
Charles Rich is a software product management professional who brings over 27 years of technical hands-on experience working with large-scale customers to meet their application and systems management requirements. Prior to joining Nastel, Charley was Product Manager for IBM's Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager software, where he charted the product roadmap, managed all aspects of product marketing and was recognized for his accomplishments by winning the Tivoli General manager's Award. Before IBM, he gained extensive experience in enterprise application management at SMARTS, where he was Director of the Application Management Product Line, playing an instrumental role in bringing their ASM suite, Business Dashboard and Business Process Management solutions to market. Earlier in his career he held positions as Director of Strategy and Planning and later Vice President of Field Marketing for eCommerce firm InterWorld. Charley is a sought after technical speaker and a published author.
Richard Nikula
Worldwide Director, Technology Services
As director of Technology Services for Nastel, Richard manages Nastel's professional services team, chartered with ensuring optimal customer experience. His areas of specialization include helping customers understand, reduce and manage the complexities introduced by Service Oriented Architectures and virtualization. Richard brings 25 years of software development and implementation experience to Nastel, the majority of which has come from working on leading edge technologies for software vendors such as BMC. A recognized expert in Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), and WebSphere, he was contributed to industry standards, delivered articles and presentations at many levels.
