Albert Mavashev selected to join May 12 panel session titled “Service Delivery Management”
Melville, NY – May 2, 2011 – Nastel Technologies, a premier global provider of business transaction performance™ solutions for mission-critical applications spanning the distributed, mainframe and cloud tiers, today announced its Chief Technology Officer, Albert Mavashev, will be speaking on a panel at Interop Las Vegas on May 12. The session, titled “Service Delivery Management,” will take place from 10:15am-11:15am Pacific Time in room Breakers L at Mandalay Bay.
During the session, Mavashev and the other panelists will explore the challenge of managing service delivery, where a service can be a collection of inter-related applications that support a business process, or it could be a component of an application such as compute or storage. Making the challenge even more difficult is the fact that on an ever-increasing basis, service delivery must be supported over a combination of wired and wireless networks, distributed and mainframe tiers and cloud infrastructures. In the session, Jim Metzler – Vice President of Ashton Metzler & Associates – will compare and contrast the approach to application and service performance management being taken by some of the industry’s leading vendors, including Nastel.
Joining Mavashev on the panel will be: Todd DeCapua, VP Consulting for Shunra, Paul Ellis, Senior Product Marketing Manger of Wily Technology Division, and Steve Tack, CTO of Compuware APM Solutions.
Commenting on the upcoming panel, Mavashev said, “Application and transaction performance management are issues all IT organizations must focus on to ensure successful service delivery management. Ensuring this means maintaining high levels of service for mission critical applications. This requires improved infrastructure visibility, early warning about problems and self-service for stake holders. I’m honored to be part of a panel discussing these important issues.”
