Nastel to Demonstrate its AutoPilot 6.5 Solution at Booth Z-3
MELVILLE, NY – April 26, 2012 – Nastel Technologies, a premier global provider of application performance monitoring solutions for mission-critical applications from the datacenter to the cloud, today announced that it will host the TD Securities’ presentation on “The Case for Reasoning” by Director Stephen Neal at IBM Impact 2012. In addition, as a zZone Sponsor of IBM’s global conference, Nastel will be at Booth Z-3 to demonstrate its new AutoPilot 6.5 solution, the first unified platform to manage multiple middleware technologies with a single solution.
“The Case for Reasoning” presentation, which will be held on Monday, April 30 at 10:45 a.m. in the Venetian – Delfino 4001A room, will describe how an application performance monitoring solution using Complex Event Processing (CEP) analytics can be extended with Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) to deliver predictive, self-learning analytics for Operational Risk Management.
To provide enterprises with full-spectrum Case-Based Reasoning capabilities, Nastel is collaborating with Verdande Technology AS, a global leader in applying CBR to specialized business applications. By working with Verdande Technology, Nastel will deliver a solution that can help capture, interpret and recognize patterns in real-time and static data to help firms predict future events, mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
“As the complexity of the corporate enterprise increases to keep up with business demand, organizations are looking for innovative ways to improve the reliability and effectiveness of their technology investments,” said Charley Rich, vice president of product management, Nastel. “Furthermore, enterprises have the opportunity to master the exploitation of big data and as a result resolve problems faster and better understand customer behavior.”
The track-session will also illustrate how investment banks are enhancing their enterprise application performance monitoring (APM) environments with new predictive and self-learning technologies such as Case Based Reasoning. Additionally, attendees will gain a deeper understanding how real time decision support systems can be integrated with APM to provide predictive analytics that go beyond casual trending or correlation.
