AutoPilot Heap Detective software detects memory leaks in Java applications
MELVILLE, N.Y. – October 22, 2012 – Nastel Technologies, a premier global provider of middleware-centric application performance monitoring solutions for mission-critical applications from the datacenter to the cloud, today announced it will introduce its new, free memory leak detection software and showcase its Application Performance Monitoring solutions for Java, .Net, middleware and mainframe applications at the Gartner Symposium ITxpo 2012 conference on October 21-25.
Nastel’s AutoPilot Heap Detective™ tool detects Java memory leaks. Free and available for download starting on October 22, it can operate as a standalone tool or be integrated with Nastel AutoPilot for detection, diagnostics and alerting as part of a traditional APM solution.
While, Java Heap usage often fluctuates, this is not necessarily leaky behavior. AutoPilot with Heap Detective can go further than reporting memory usage and can detect the “patterns of behavior,” such as oscillation rate which could be indicative of a leak in one or more JVMs.
Nastel executives will give away copies of AutoPilot Heap Detective at the conference (Booth #346). The company also will run demos of Heap Detective as well as other solutions such as the following:
- Nastel AutoPilot – A middleware-centric Application Performance Monitoring solution used to “monitor, analyze and act.” Nastel AutoPilot oversees business applications by measuring their execution, analyzing their behavior and taking corrective action when appropriate.
