AutoPilot® M6 for J2EE Monitoring

AutoPilot® can rapidly improve the performance of your J2EE applications

AutoPilot® automatically:
  • Provides complete, down to the method level visibility into all of your J2EE and SOA applications
  • Provides rapid problem isolation and resolution
  • Delivers transaction level visibility

With the proliferation of J2EE and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications, you now need end-to-end real time visibility into your critical web-based application transactions to effectively manage their performance and ensure their high availability and reliability.

Spotting and correcting performance issues while an application is still in the development and testing phase greatly minimizes the risk of performance degradations disrupting your business. Tuning performance pre-deployment can also dramatically reduce labor-intensive troubleshooting and costly maintenance post-deployment.

AutoPilot M6 for J2EE Key Features:

  • Installs in just minutes
  • Offers out-of-the-box functionality that's simple to use
  • Gives you complete user click stream through web-based J2EE and SOA applications
  • Measures web-based transaction performance end to end
  • Provides full JMX and operational monitoring capabilities
  • Provides real-time and historical point-in time views on demand
  • Lets you start and stop live data monitoring whenever you need to
  • Shows full spectrum of response time statistics – minimum, maximum, average and actual
  • Drills down to JMS, JDBC, method calls, servlets and sessions with simple one-click option to view live session details

Transaction Level Visibility

AutoPilot® M6 for J2EE monitors any application, whether in development or production, running in a J2EE environment. It gives you complete, click-by-click visibility into all of your J2EE and SOA applications. AutoPilot® M6 for J2EE gives you transaction level visibility with on-demand drill down to the Java Message Service (JMS), Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), method calls and servlets to speed root cause identification.

Rapid Problem Isolation and Resolution

AutoPilot® M6 for J2EE breaks down the total execution time by each layer of an enterprise application - web, database, business logic – instantly revealing the source of any bottleneck with precision, even down the method call level. This enables instant isolation and rapid resolution of any performance-related problems. With AutoPilot® M6 for J2EE you can monitor all of your web-based application transaction flows in real time to eliminate performance and availability issues – before they impact your operations.

Unique, Click Stream Approach

AutoPilot® M6 for J2EE uses a unique and innovative time-based approach to performance monitoring and user activity tracking. A user's transaction flow is treated as a discreet session. AutoPilot M6 for J2EE traces the click-stream from beginning to end within the context of that session, using Nastel's innovative, non-intrusive technology to trace a user's path and measure performance. It automatically attaches performance information such as JVM usage to each click to evaluate performance in real time. With its low-overhead design and out-of-the-box functionality, AutoPilot M6 for J2EE is ideal for trouble-shooting applications in development and QA as well as tracking them in live production environments.

Complete Historical Record

AutoPilot® M6 for J2EE also logs each session historically, creating a comprehensive record of critical performance metrics such as response times and exceptions. You can access this on demand to see a clear picture of exactly what was happening at any specific day and time.

AutoPilot® M6 for J2EE lets you choose how you want to view your application performance data. You can select the servers or applications you're responsible for. You can see a user session in real time, or you can select the full Application View, Query View for specific drill down, or see a snapshot of a given day or time with the Point In Time View. The convenient Session View lets you choose to see detailed information about the performance of Java Server Pages, Java Servlets, Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs) and objects with JDBC and JMS access.

What we do.

AutoPilot ensures the availability and performance of applications, middleware and transactions from the datacenter to the cloud. Using complex event processing and business transaction management it automatically identifies and fixes problems before they impact users and disrupt business processes.

AutoPilot enables you to resolve issues when they first show up and not wait until they blow up.
