AutoPilot can interpret and represent these facts in business views to bring the BizTalk application processes into AutoPilot’s intuitive, color-coded consolidated console views of the status and health of all of your application processes. AutoPilot’s embedded Complex Event Processing (CEP) engine can analyze the pattern cloud and from that predict BizTalk problems, sending alerts about them before they have impacted users and disrupted business processes. Performance and availability problems can even be prevented by using business rules in addition to CEP. If something is going to impact your business transactions, you need to prevent that problem before your customers and business processes are impacted.

Business Transaction Performance, or BTP, provides immediate answers to the key questions of “what happened” and “why it happened”. While the discovery of operational metrics for the resources underlying your transactions, provides the answer to “why it happened” or in another words, the root cause. Taken together, the correlation of transactional and operational data in a business context via a Complex Event Processing (CEP) engine enables you to proactively ensure the performance and availability of your applications and their constituent transactions with little or no user or business process impact.
