Integrated solution reduces costs and improves user satisfaction through enhanced visibility into performance issues of business applications

Melville, New York – October 18, 2010 – Nastel Technologies, a premier global provider of business transaction performance™ solutions for mission-critical applications spanning both the distributed and mainframe tiers, today announced a joint marketing partnership with Coradiant, Inc., the leading provider of solutions used to manage, optimize and troubleshoot Web applications. The integration between Nastel AutoPilot® and Coradiant TrueSight® will result in end user performance visibility, seamlessly integrated with AutoPilot’s deep-dive application and business transaction performance analysis. This provides Nastel and Coradiant customers with the visibility, predictive problem analysis and high transaction performance they require from their complex, multi-tier applications.

“We are excited about the opportunities we have working together with Coradiant, a leader in providing end-user experience monitoring,” said Charley Rich, vice president of marketing and product management for Nastel. “With their award winning capability to monitor web operations in the largest of enterprises, combined with the automated discovery, proactive analysis, alerting and resolution of AutoPilot, we are confident we can provide the best solution available to our joint customers needing to improve performance, lower costs and stay compliant.”

Business transactions, as experienced by the end-users collected by TrueSight, are automatically stitched to application transactions by AutoPilot Transaction Analyzer and analyzed via AutoPilot’s Complex Event Processing (CEP) engine for proactive problem detection. AutoPilot’s dynamic dashboards will show a unified analysis of end-to-end transactions, comparing the performance of each transaction to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in order to ensure compliance. Operations will be able to view the real-time performance of end-users by geography, user group, transaction type, time-of-day other appropriate criteria.

Joint Nastel and Coradiant customers will benefit from AutoPilot’s CEP-based proactive problem detection and resolution, plus gain support for a broad range of platforms. They will also become aware of the impact problems with distributed or mainframe systems, application servers, messaging middleware and other infrastructure components have on their end-users’ experience. Additionally, customers will now have end-user transaction performance data such as slow end-user connections or user impact of network changes added as input to AutoPilot’s proactive problem analysis. They will enjoy reduced mean-time-to-repair and mean-time-to-know about problems that impact the end-to-end transaction, resulting in a reduction in support costs, better managed risk and a higher quality of service they can deliver to their customers.

“We are pleased to partner with Nastel Technologies in offering an integrated solution to our joint customers,” said Ali Hedayati, president and COO of Coradiant. “Complex, dynamic web environments are best managed with a complete view of the end-user. Nastel AutoPilot’s unique capability to monitor applications and business transactions and correlate complex data sets enables them to stand out as a leader and provides Coradiant customers with a richer tool set. Integrating Coradiant TrueSight with Nastel AutoPilot provides the most demanding of enterprises with a solution for effective end-to-end management of web applications.”
